Patchouli oil is obtained from the steam distillation of Pogostemon cablin plant (leaves and twigs). It can grow up to 1,3 meters in tropical countries like Indonesia. Patchouli oil has a strong and heavy aroma, widely used in perfumes and fixatives. It is also used as an insect repellent, incense, and alternative medicine.

Clove Bud Oil
Clove bud oil widely used in aromatherapy because of many medical benefits. it generally contains 80-85% eugenol mixed with several other compounds. Clove is most commonly recognized for its use in dental and oral hygiene products. Clove bud oil aroma can reduce blood toxicity and stimulates antioxidant activity in the body.

Clove Leaf Oil
Clove leaf oil is extracted from Myrtaceae Family, Eugenia Caryophyllata. Our clove leaf oil is produced directly from distillers. Eugenol content of crude clove leaf oil products are maintained at minimum 72%. Clove leaf oil has strong odor and spicy taste of clove. It has excellent antiseptic properties and widely used to help relieve toothache, rheumatism, arthritic pain, and mouth sores.

Clove Stem Oil
Clove stem oil is extracted from the stems of Myrtaceae Family, Eugenia Caryophyllata. It has specific odor of clove stem. Clove stem has higher eugenol content of minimum 85%. It is useful to help asthma, relieve arthritic pain, toothache, vomiting, diarrhea and parasites.

Rectified Clove Oil & Eugenol
Rectified clove oil (with Eugenol content of min. 85%) is obtained from fractional distillation of clove leaf oil. A further purification of this product results in Eugenol 99% as well as Eugenol USP (min 99.5%).

Citronella Oil Java
Citronella oil is extracted from the leaves and stems of Cymbopogon winterianus leaves, which is another species of Cymbopogon (lemongrass). Most of our citronella oil is “Java type”. Our products have strong citronella odor and guaranteed 100% pure and natural. The chemical content of citronella oil can be found in soap, candle, incense, perfume, cosmetic ,and flavoring industries throughout the world.

Citronella Oil Java Derivatives
Citronella oil can be further processed to obtain valuable aroma chemicals as well as important derivatives that may serve certain functionalities.
When citronella oil is subjected to separate its building blocks through fractional distillation process, citronellal is obtained as the top fraction product, while rhodinol (consist of citronellol and geraniol) is obtained as the bottom fraction product.
Meanwhile, when citronellal is further converted into para-menthane-diol, it serves as powerful natural mosquito repellent. By careful formulation with rhodinol, EsQuito ex. Citronella™ is now ready for you to use in your final skincare formulations.

Cajeput Oil
The name “cajeput” is derived from Indonesian name, “kayu putih” or “white wood”. Cajeput oil has a very pungent aroma, similar to the mixture of turpentine and camphor. It consists mainly of cineole. Cajeput is commonly used for muscle pain. It is also used effectively for the treatment of bacterial or fungal infections, fin and tissue regrowth for betta fish.

Wild Galangal
(Alpinia Malaccensis) Oil
Wild galangal oil, also know in indonesia as lajagoa, laja gowah, lengkuas hutan, bunglai laki-laki, sesuk, laawase wakan, lawasa malaka, or duhu oil, is an essential oil harvested from the Alpinia malaccensis plant. The people of Java and Maluku traditionally use this plant as medicine as well as spices. The rhizome is used to treat boils and sores, as well as munched for throat care for singing. The fruit is eaten directly or used as cooking spices or dried for tea. Lastly, the seed shell is used as hair and laundry perfume. The active compound in wild galangal oil is methyl cinnamate min 60%, which is used in flavor and fragrance industries to give strawberry-like flavor and sweet-balsamic odor, respectively.

Nutmeg Oil
Nutmeg has been historically traded for more than a millennium between Indonesian and the Chinese, Persian, Portuguese, and the Dutch as for spices and preservatives. Nutmeg oil is obtained by steam distillation of ground nutmeg seed, which is used frequently in flavor and fragrance as well as in cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries. it contains various bioactive compounds such as myristicin, elemicin, safrole, methyl eugenol, pinene, sabinene, limonene, and terpineol. Myristicin, in particular, is know as insecticide and when ingested in sufficient amount, is know to give hallucinogenic and sedative effects.
